Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • define emotional intelligence.
  • identify areas where high emotional intelligence positively impacts business.
  • explain two primary emotional intelligence competencies and four emotional intelligence skills.
  • list several strategies for personally improving emotional intelligence behavior.
  • recognize positive emotional intelligence behaviors through real life examples.

Licensed Nurses:  Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 1.00 contact hours.
