Course Description: This course will provide participants with an update on current pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management interventions for blood cholesterol management. It also has a section on cholesterol management for children.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the concepts and principles related to clinical decision-making in the pathophysiology of the contribution of blood cholesterol to the development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
2.Identiify risk factors for the development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and associated adverse outcomes.
3. Discuss currently available interventions for the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of abnormal blood cholesterol.
4. Discuss currently available clinical practice guidelines for the management of blood cholesterol.
