The purpose of this course is to enhance the knowledge of the care and management of the patient with a respirator, including current lung protection strategies.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the pathophysiology of the ventilator assisted patient.
- Discuss the management of a patient on a ventilator.
Length of Course: 60 minutes
Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 1.0 contact hours.
