Course Description: Participants will learn strategies to managing their own care while providing care to others. Knowledge gained from this program will afford participants the ability to provide care coordination and care management support services with a lower risk of burnout.
Target Audience: Social Workers, Nurses. Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Psychology Counselors, Medical Assistants, and AHEC.

At the end of this presentation, the learner will be able to:
Identify contributing factors to chronic illnesses
Identify coping strategies to deal with chronic caregiving
Describe the impact of chronic caregiving on women
Describe how to choose mindfully when preserving a healthy brain
Social Workers: This program has been approved for 3.0 clock hours of social work continuing education by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.
