Course Description: This program explores medications that are considered high risk in select patient populations and provides the participant with the knowledge to evaluate drug therapy for patients taking high risk medications to improve patient safety. Common medications which increase falls in the older adult population and how to properly manage these medications to reduce falls will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Identify medications considered high risk in select patient populations.
- Evaluate drug therapy for patients taking high risk medications to improve patient safety.
Analyze methods to reduce the risk of falls in the elderly.
