Course Description: This program is brought to you through a partnership with SC LEND which provides certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and CNA instructors with information that will aid in their ability to develop and prepare the long-term care workforce to become compassionate nurturing advocates.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Outline the diagnostic criteria for ADHD
- Identify common co-existing conditions
- List effective treatments for children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD
Length of Course: 1 hour
Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 1.0 contact hours.
Social Workers: This program has been approved by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for 1.0 clock hours of non-social work continuing education.
Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists: This program has been approved for 1.0 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.
