Course Description: This course follows Essential Oils for Women’s Needs Part One and will describe six more essential oils to enhance the relief of women’s emotional and physiological issues that arise at different stages of their life.  The presenter will discuss the properties of these essences and why they may enhance a therapeutic blend.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

·        Discuss the use of specific essential oils in application to enhance the relief of women’s physiological and emotional issues.

·        Identify properties of five commonly used essential oils and their benefits on feminine issues.

·        Discuss when and how these essences for women’s needs may be added to a therapeutic blend.

Length of Course: 45 minutes

Licensed Nurses:  Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 0.75  contact hour.

Massage Therapists: This program has been approved for 0.9 hours of continuing education by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation for Massage Therapy. SC State Provider Number is 2.

AHEC Credit: This educational offering provides 0.075 CEUs ( 0.75 clock hour) by Upstate AHEC and meets SC AHEC Best Practice Standards.
