Course Description: This course will provide participants with conflict management skills and techniques.

Target Audience: All Healthcare providers and administrative personnel
Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- define conflict.
- identify the impact of conflict.
- review how individuals approach and manage conflict.
- determine the predominate style of conflict for each participant.
- discuss ways to adapt individual conflict styles to improve workplace performance and productivity.
Length of Course: 60 minutes
Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 1.0 contact hour.
Counselors and Therapists: This program has been approved for 1.0 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.
Dietitians: 1.0 hours of CPE for registered dietitians.
Respiratory Care Practitioners: 1.0 clock hours will be awarded by Upstate AHEC, an approved provider of continuing education for respiratory care practitioners by the SC Board of Medical Examiners.
Social Workers: This program has been approved for clock hours of 1.0 non-social work continuing education by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.
