Course Description: This course will provide healthcare professionals with information regarding Clostridium Difficile as a causative agent. It will identify who is at the highest risk of contracting C. Diff., list treatments for C. Diff, hospital costs of treating a C. Diff infection, discuss the preventive strategies an institution can take to decrease or minimize C. Diff infections and to discuss the future of healthcare acquired D. Diff. infections.
