Behavior Management for Primary Care

Behavior Management for Primary Care

Course Expiration Date: 10/31/21

This course is free.

Course Description:  This program is brought to you through a partnership with LEND to discuss disruptive behavioral disorders.  Disruptive behavior disorders in childhood can be treated and managed. There are many evidence-based treatment options, so parents and doctors should work closely with everyone involved in the child's treatment.   Early diagnosis and appropriate services for children and their families can make a difference in the lives of children with mental disorders. Primary care is the first line and where parents go for help for their children.  The prevalence of disruptive behavior problems among children presenting at their PCP is estimated at 10 to 20 percent.
